Making resolutions and keeping them can be two entirely different things. All of us seek to better ourselves and make our lives more fulfilled in some way. Whether you would like to hit the gym more or just hope to be a kinder person, we all like to make resolutions, but year after year we know they never last as long as we wish they would. Here are three tips to keeping these resolutions for the next twelve months to come.
1. Break it down~ make your resolution an achievable goal by breaking each aspect into something you will actually be able to do.
2. Reward yourself~ When you actually do what you have set out to do, reward yourself. Success breeds success.
3. Write your goals down~ Your brain and body are all connected, writing these down makes them more permanent and holds you more accountable to a physical idea. You will be amazed at how well it works.
