North Central Texas' most exciting Friday nights! Boyd Raceway is a 1/4-mile oval banked dirt track located just two miles south of Highway 114 in Boyd, Texas.
Featuring IMCA-sanctioned racing at it's best, we offer six full classes of racing every week, with special classes competing periodically. See IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, IMCA Hobby Stocks, Sims Modifieds, Mod Fours, Mini-Stocks and Boyd Bandits Junior Mini-Stocks in wheel-to-wheel action that will push you to the edge of your seat again and again!
With three children and eight grandchildren, owners David and Lynda Plato are family-oriented, and they work to make your racing experience at Boyd Raceway a family event. A special section has been designated to offer spectators an area where drinking and smoking are not allowed, and there are monthly special events designed just for the kids, such as bicycle races, foot races and box races held on the front straight.
In addition, Boyd Raceway will host many special events and added races throughout the year.
Gates open at 6:00 p.m. and racing starts at 8:00 p.m. Admission is just $8.00 for adults and $3.00 for children ages 6-12. Kids under 6 get in free, and there is a senior citizen discount.
