Dip and Spread Recipes
Honey Butter
(Yum! This is great on freshly baked biscuits or muffins!)
48 oz. container of softened butter or margarine
2-1/2 t. cinnamon (or more to your taste)
14 to 16 oz. of honey
In mixing bowl, combine butter or margarine and cinnamon. Gradually add honey, mixing by hand or with an electric mixer until ingredients are mixed well. Store covered in refrigerator.
Honey Yogurt Fruit Dip
32 oz container of plain or low-fat yogurt
12 oz. honey
1 teaspoon orange extract
Mix the 3 ingredients together stirring well. Use any fresh fruit to dip with or pour over cut up fresh fruit. Can be used in a fruit salad or as a dessert topping
Deb's Bean Dip
30 ounces of Refried Beans
1-8 oz cream cheese package
1 tablespoon garlic powder
1 tablespoon onion powder
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
sometimes add taco sauce- 3-4 packets
sometimes add taco seasoning mix
Mix together well. Add or take away at your liberty to your taste buds.
